Sill soldier will compete in Muskathon endurance race
Fort Sill soldier Kevin Enoch will soon be on his way to Greece to participate in the Muskathon a Fourth Musketeer men's group-sponsored endurance race.
Enoch needed to raise $11,000 to participate in the event with all of that total going to the A21 charity group, which combats human trafficking in and around Europe. He first began his fundraising efforts in November. He said progress was slow initially but he was able to not only get the money, but to get his body in the condition it needed to be to compete.
"Slow progress in gaining the mileage per week necessary to participate safely in a marathon and slow progress in gaining donations toward the $11,000," Enoch said. "But I had committed to the Muskathlon and there was no turning back."
