Melvin Leroy 'Ozzie' Robison
Melvin Leroy "Ozzie" Robison, 83, died Monday, July 9, 2018.
He was born Jan. 26, 1935, in Maryville, Mo., to Clarence and Margaret Wickham Robison. Melvin grew up in Hopkins, Mo., and graduated high school in 1953. He attended Central State in Edmond and Cameron University in Lawton. He worked as a lineman for Cotton Electric Cooperative and served on their board of directors for 45 years and was also an instructor at Great Plains Area Vo-Tech. He was a member of First Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Nelda "Tootsie" Vinyard; one daughter, Kathryn Brand and husband Rodney; one son, Kyle Robison; three grandchildren: Madeline Robison, Abigail Graves and husband Cole and Mary Brand; and by one great-grandchild, Saylor.
Melvin was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers: Raymond, Francis, Chester and Donald; and one sister, Lorraine.

Private family services will be held in the Hopkins Memorial Cemetery, Hopkins, Mo., under direction of Groves-McNeil Funeral Services, Piedmont.
