James Willie "Bud" Weaver

Memorial service for James Willie "Bud" Weaver, 62, of Lawton, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2018, at Jackson Funeral Home Chapel, Frederick, with the Rev. Brandon Steed officiating.   

Mr. Weaver passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2018, in an Oklahoma City hospital.

James Willie Weaver was born Oct. 23, 1955, in Snyder, to Clyde Willie and Louise (Clark) Weaver. He attended Tipton Public Schools and later received his GED. He worked as a plumber for Andy's Plumbing in Lawton. He was united in marriage to Tamela J. Washburn on Aug.12, 2013, in Lawton.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy of the home; two daughters: Kimberly Rogers and husband Douglas II of Lawton, and  Jessica Statonn and husband Kellen of Lawton; foster daughter, Latrisha Moore of the home; four sisters: Barbara Ballard of Ringling, JoAnn Campbell and her husband Alan of Tulsa, Loretta Weaver of Pauls Valley, and Linda Sheffield and husband Steve of Mount Juliet, Tenn.;  three grandchildren: Damion Rogers, Sachioc Rogers and Douglas Rogers III; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Louise and Clyde Weaver; his grandmother, Sudie Clark; one sister, Mary Jane Weaver; one uncle, James Clark; and one brother-in-law, Tony Ballard.
