Wreaths Across America

Dozens of volunteers lined up and received wreaths to place throughout the Fort Sill National Cemetery on Saturday morning. Over 1,000 wreaths were placed throughout the cemetery as part of “Wreaths Across America Day,” an annual event the offers opportunity to remember the sacrifices made by the men and women of America’s armed forces.

Annie Jones Gray readies to place a wreath at the grave of her brother, Dennis W. Hodges Sr., at the Fort Sill National Cemetery Saturday as part of the "Wreathes Across America Day." "That's my big brother," she said. "He gave a lot of time to the military." The late-First Sergeant served in the Army during Vietnam and was the past 1st Vice President of the Buffalo Soldiers.
