The public is invited to attend the annual Country Kitchen Christmas Bazaar beginning at 11 a.m., Nov. 20, at the First United Methodist Church in Altus.
The event will feature a community luncheon, a quilt sale and exhibit and a holiday bake sale. Mrs. Claus’ Candy Shoppe will offer homemade candies and confections and the North Pole Bakery will offer cakes, pies, soups, quick breads, jellies, hors d’oeuvres and other specialty food items.
The lunch menu consists of Pride of the Prairie Stew, Ken’s Gourmet Beans, Methodist Cornbread, all the trimmings and homemade peach cobbler.
Approximately 25 quilts will be exhibited including heirloom, contemporary and art quilts. Two quilts will be for sale as well as baby quilts and handmade gift items.
