BancFirst recently announced the promotion of Cara “Dede” Armes to assistant vice president.
Armes serves as the mortgage loan originator for the markets of Lawton and Frederick. She joined BancFirst in the spring of 2016 and has 33 years of banking experience.
“Dede has a vast knowledge of mortgage lending experience,” said Mark Brace, BancFirst Lawton president. “She’s a true asset to the BancFirst team, and I look forward to seeing her continued professional growth and leadership within BancFirst.”
Armes is a native of Southwest Oklahoma. She attended Cameron University and Western Oklahoma State College where she received her associate degree. Armes is active in the Frederick and Lawton communities. She is the affiliate committee chair for the Lawton Board of Realtors as well as a board member, past president, and Pancakes Day chair for the Kiwanis board. Armes is also the 2019 Kiwanian of the Year. She served on the Comanche County Memorial Hospital Foundation board for 14 years with four of those years as the chairman.
