St. Mary’s Catholic School has partnered with ATV Ride Safe Oklahoma to bring all-terrain vehicle (ATV) safety to its students.

On Tuesday, the group will provide safety education and injury prevention information as related to ATVs, also known as four-wheelers and quads.

St. Mary’s Physical Education teacher Ken Gray places top priority on student safety.

“With the amount of injuries and deaths to children from ATVs, I want to ensure that our students have all the knowledge they need to stay safe,” Gray said.

ATV Ride Safe Oklahoma is a joint initiative led by The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital, Trauma One Injury Prevention at OU Medical Center and Oklahoma State University Cooperative Extension Service 4-H Youth Development.
