Medical Examiner: Man killed by police in July suffered 10 gunshot wounds
The state Medical Examiner has released its full report into the July 3 shooting death of a 41-year-old Lawton man at the hands of police.
The report by Medical Examiner Eric Duval included information that Millard B. Clark Jr. died from 10 gunshot wounds and that he was under the influence of methamphetamines at the time of the incident.
According to the incident report released by Lawton police, Clark is accused of cutting LPD Officer James Carr with a knife.
LPD Officers Carr and Christopher Blessing were called to an apartment at 1410 NW Taylor shortly before 6:30 a.m. July 3 on the report of a disturbance, according to a prior Constitution story.
