CU women drop home opener to UCO
Score one for the defense.
The University of Central Oklahoma handcuffed Cameron’s offensive attack Tuesday and rolled to a 79-51 women’s basketball victory over the Aggies in the CU Gym.
The Bronchos forced 27 Cameron turnovers and converted them into 33 points to roll to their third win in a row.
Cameron, now 1-2, couldn’t get its inside game going and struggled to shoot 35.7 percent from the field. Central hit 45.9 percent from the floor, including 11 of 28 3-pointers, and the Edmond squad added 12 of 15 free throws for good measure.
