CU basketball set for regular-season finale
As the Lone Star Conference Tournament nears with the end of the season looming, a road doubleheader with rival Midwestern State is on tap for Cameron hoops tonight when the Aggie women tip at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men at 7:30 in Wichita Falls, Texas.
It's one of the final chances for both Aggie squads to secure victories and jockey for position on the conference standings totem pole.
Tuesday marks the first of two games this week for the Cameron women (11-15, 9-9 LSC) who will have a chance to pull even with Midwestern State (13-11, 10-8 LSC) in the conference standings and also sweep the season series with the Mustangs. On Thursday, the Aggies close out the regular season in Denton, Texas where they square off with Texas Woman's (10-14, 7-11 LSC) at 7 p.m.
After picking up road sweeps of Eastern and Western New Mexico last weekend, the Cameron men (11-15, 7-10 LSC) look to push their road winning streak to three games tonight when they visit the Mustangs (10-17, 6-11 LSC), marking CU's final regular season game.
