Lawton youth claim several titles in state tournament at Hog Pin

There is not much left that has not already been said about some of our local youth bowlers besides, Wow, we have an awesome group of young athletes in our midst, and I'm not just saying that because I'm partial, these kids are good and they just keep getting better.

Proving that fact this week was seventeen year old Britney Brown who rolled her fourth perfect 300 game for the season last Monday night in the summer Adult/Youth league at Thunderbird Lanes.

Britney started the night with a 239 before reeling off the twelve-bagger for career 300 game number four, and shocking as it may seem, this was the first one that Mom, Tammye, was on hand to witness.

Game three was a goner leaving Britney with 699 for totals but she walked away with bragging rights nonetheless for perfect 300 games at multiple bowling centers as this is her first at Thunderbird Lanes that is USBC certified.

JR Vaughn also shined on the youth side of the league, starting his night off with one of those one-frame-away games of 279.

JR came back with 232 and 202 to roll a nice 713 to set average for the season.

James Biscaino held the adults up with a 719 on games of 263, 258 and 198.
