Man jailed after fatal accident

An Indiahoma man is in jail on a $100,000 bond after being charged Tuesday in connection with the death of a 17-year-old Cache girl.

Brian K. Neugebauer, 47, was charged with first-degree manslaughter and two misdemeanors  driving without a valid driver's license and violation of ignition interlock device.

According to an affidavit filed in Comanche County District Court, Natalie Anne Hults, 17, Cache, was driving a 2009 Mercedes near the intersection of Deyo Mission Road and Lee Boulevard around 12:30 p.m. Friday when she "pulled from the stop sign and was impacted by Neugebauer," who was driving a 1986 International truck eastbound on West Lee.

The affidavit states Hults was fatally injured; Neugebauer was not injured.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers determined that Neugebauer's driver's license was flagged as suspended with limited driving with privileges and a required interlock, as regulated by the Department of Public Safety, according to the affidavit.
