Cache shooting suspect ID’d

CACHE — A Comanche County Sheriff’s Deputy recovers and the shooter from a Sunday morning fire fight in Cache is identified, according to the sheriff.

Comanche County Sheriff Kenny Stradley confirmed that James McDonald was the shooter killed during a stand-off at McDonald’s home at 307 Rock Creek in Cache.

McDonald’s ex-wife who was wounded and another man killed by gunshot at a home at the corner of North 8th Street and Oak Street in Cache that preceded the stand-off. The woman remains “officially” unidentified until next of kin are contacted, Stradley said. She is in an Oklahoma City hospital in serious condition with a gunshot wound to the face.
