DUNCAN For the second year, members of Duncan Little Theatre are out to prove there is loads of talent in the area.
It's the "We've Got Talent" show starting at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Simmons Center Theatre. Doors will open at 7 p.m.
This is a variety show of the finest with 21 different acts taking the stage. Auditions were held earlier this year from which the final performers were selected.
"There will be singing, bands and even a Michael Jackson impersonator," said Gina Flesher, president of the theater. "He does a fantastic moonwalk."
There is a wide variety of acts; some have never performed on stage before while others are veterans.
Flesher said one story that has touched her heart is of a 17-year-old girl who wrote on her audition application that her family tells her she is too shy to perform even though she enjoys singing.
"I don't care about winning," the girl wrote. "I just want to prove to myself and them I can do it."
