The Lawton Book and Play Review Club meets Thursday with Rose-Mary Rumbley returning to deliver the address.
The North Texas native will review the book "The Warm Bucket Brigade: The Story of the American Vice Presidency" by Jeremy Lott. A group of mostly unknowns, America's vice presidents still have left an important and often unique legacy. Did you know two of them were from Oklahoma?
Always lively and entertaining, Rumbley's presentation begins at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the McMahon Building, 716 SW C. Rumbley holds a doctorate degree in communications. She has been a college professor, single adults minister, and performed in productions of Dallas Summer Musicals.
