"New Year's Rockin' Eve" (ABC, 9-10 p.m., 10:30 p.m.-12:15 a.m.). Legendary host Dick Clark died this year, but successor Ryan Seacrest salutes Clark's NYE career in an 7-9 p.m. prime time special. Then, Seacrest hits Times Square live with Jenny McCarthy and performers Taylor Swift, Carly Rae Jepsen and Neon Trees. Among the musical acts (recorded earlier) in Hollywood with studio host Fergie: Brandy, Flo Rida, Karmin, OneRepublic and Pitbull.
"New Year's Eve Live" (NBC, 9-10 p.m., 10:30 p.m.-11:30 p.m.). Carson Daly returns to Times Square, with "Office" fave Angela Kinsey, plus performances from Train and "The Voice" winner Cassadee Pope.
