Six months ago, Dallas Neal, Clayton Landua, Josh Serrato and Ben Hussey were four names that were largely unknown. Today, these four men who compose the country band Six Market Blvd. arrive in Wichita Falls to perform at the Wichita Falls Street dance from 7 to 9 p.m. with music from their latest album "Shake it Down," which has appeared on the Billboard country album charts, Heatseekers and Heatseekers Regional-South Central. The album, released May 22, has climbed to No. 5 on the iTunes country chart and is the No. 3 best selling album on the Lonestar Country Music Chart.
The success of their latest album shows great contrast to the popularity of their first album "Running on Seven," which drummer Dallas Neal said is the result of the great team that has supported them with the second album.
"We have a great team working behind us," Neal said. "Without that team behind us, we definitely would not see as much success as we have had in the past six months. Our gratitude goes out to the members of the team."
The band writes their own songs with the majority of the songs coming from the lead singer Clayton Landua. Bass player Ben Hussey has also penned a couple of the songs as well as collaborated with Landua to produce content together.
