The Drake, located at 999 Park Avenue in New York, is one of the older buildings in the city filled with stories and histories from decades past but as the new resident manager Jane Van Veen (Rachael Taylor) discovers, not all of these stories are heartwarming, which earns the building the name 666 Park Avenue.

Jane is a recent architectural graduate whose previous unemployment woes are relieved when Gavin and Olivia Doran (Terry O'Quinn and Vanessa Williams), owners of The Drake, hire Jane and her boyfriend Henry Martin (Dave Annable) as the new resident managers of the luxurious apartments.

Jane immediately becomes interested in the architectural mysteries of the building but unearths ghastly visions of past residents. With warnings to stay away from the seemingly generous friendships of Gavin and Olivia, Jane and Henry begin to wonder if they got in over their heads.
