The Cameron University volleyball team is set to play in a Lone Star Conference Tuesday night match at 7:00 p.m. against nearby Midwestern State at the Aggie Gym. Fans will be encouraged to dress in toga gear to go with the theme Toga Night sponsored by PAC. They will also be hosting a pre-game toga tailgate outside of the Aggie Gym starting at 6 p.m. for students.
First Serve
Last season the Aggies split their two meetings with Midwestern State winning 3-1 at the Aggie Gym and falling 3-2 in Wichita Falls.
Since their first meeting in 1987 the Aggies and Mustangs have meet 44 times with CU leading the series 30-14. MSU has had Cameron's number although in recent years, taking five out of the last six matches.
This match has serious Lone Star Conference tournament implications for both programs. A win for Cameron helps distance themselves from falling below eighth place in the standings. A win for the Mustangs puts them back in the race for the LSC Tournament.
