Jackson scores four TDs, fuels Eagles to 41-6 win
ALTUS - Eisenhower got the ball to open the second half, and only lightning stopped the attack.
Jarvis Jackson ran for 113 yards and four touchdowns as the Eagles bounced back from last week's loss to top host Altus, 41-6, in a
weather-shortened game Friday night in Hightower stadium.
Jackson hit on touchdown runs of 5, 11, 57 and 2 yards, the second two touchdowns coming in an offensive onslaught to start the second half that put the Bulldogs on their toes and the Eagles onto the winning track.
"The holes were there," Jackson said, "I think our linemen did a great job pushing them."
Jackson did a lot of his damage in the Eagle Gun option attack, as Bentley Bross made the reads and gave the ball to Jackson at the right times to find the open cutback lanes for big gashes.
"I think Bentley had some great reads, especially when the D-ends were just sitting there," Jackson said. "The cut was there."
Mealique Antoine scored from 1 yard out and Ricky Alexander hauled in a 21-yard pass from Bross as the Ike offense looked very good even against a tough North wind that made passing and kicking difficult.
