Kathleen Renee Sanchez-Givens passed to heaven on Friday, Dec. 29, 2017, in Lawton.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, at Comanche Nation Funeral Home with the Rev. Fred Ticeahkie officiating. Prayer service will be at 6 p.m. Thursday Jan. 4, 2018, at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.
She was born in Lawton on Jan. 17, 1964, to Carroll and Carol (Murrow) Morris, and moved to Oklahoma City, where she grew up.
She was Minister for God and was a delightful person with a beautiful spirit. She was a spirit-filled minister, and at an early age she begin her ministry. She was so proud of God; if one would be around her for just a moment, you would hear about God. She was not afraid or wouldn't hesitate to pray with a person on the spot. She believed that if one needed prayer, there was no time like the present. She continued to preach and pray for people until her death, bringing hope to people that God is always with us. Kathleen felt at home in God's house and loved to sing church hymns and volunteered her services. She was a member of the Comanche Nation of Oklahoma.
She is survived by her parents: Patricia Carol and Carroll Morris of Lawton; brother, Albert Morris, and sister, Diane Resendi both of Tulsa; and aunts and uncles: Michael Glen Murrow Sr., Catherine Mary Murrow, Elizabeth Kim Murrow, Jacqueline Kay Murrow, Rhonda Clou Stinson, William Ross Murrow, Regina Ann Pena and Georgia Dana Murrow.
She was preceded in death by: grandparents: Bracy and Patricia Murrow; cousins: Bracy Murrow III, Paul Victor, and Duskie Murrow; four uncles: Jan Kevin Murrow, John Murrow, Bracy Murrow Jr., and Gerald Lynn Murrow; great-grandparents: Fred and Amy Ticeahkie; and great-great-grandfather, Ten Bears.
