DIBBLE Graveside funeral service for Judith Isaacks, 72, Addison, Texas, will be 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 18, 2017, in Dibble Cemetery, under direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.
Mrs. Isaacks passed away peacefully in the loving arms of her son, Howard, at home following a battle with stage IV cancer.
Judy was born Nov. 25, 1944, in Lawton to C.W. and Ruby Black. She married Howard Isaacks, Sr. Feb. 19, 1965, in Garza County, Texas. He preceded her in death May 16, 2006.
Before her retirement in 2006, Judy was employed by AT&T wireless as a customer service representative. She had a long career in various service-oriented positions.
Judy has always been a tough woman. She survived a heart attack and several strokes. The most severe stroke was suffered in 2006 which rendered her almost blind. Judy bounced back and regained almost all of her sight. She was able to live a full and happy life surrounded by her friends and her son, Howie. She lived with Howie from August of 2007 until her death on Sept. 12, 2017. Judy was a member of the Town North YMCA in Dallas, Texas. A memorial service for her will be held at the Town North YMCA on Sunday, Sept. 24, 2017.
Judy is survived by her son, Howard Isaacks II, Addison, Texas; and her daughter, Kathy Isaacks Guerrero, Lubbock, Texas. Judy is also survived by four grandchildren, Michael Daniel, Sara Daniel, Rachel Gilleroy, and Gwendolyn Ellis; six great-grandchildren; sister, Peggy Ogburn; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
