Idaroi 'Doll' Tieyah Pratt
ELGINK Funeral for Idaroi "Doll" Tieyah Pratt will be at 1 p.m. Saturday Jan. 6, 2018, at Comanche Nation Funeral Home with Tina Baker officiating.
Ms. Pratt passed away Sunday Dec. 31, 2017, in Oklahoma City.
Idaroi was born Sept. 6, 1956, to Josephine Pratt and Melford Tieyah. Idaroi graduated from Junction City High School in 1974. She attended Central College and graduated in 1991, where she received her bachelor's degree in religion. She then went to Washburn University and graduated in 2009 with her bachelor's degree in psychology. Idaroi worked for the Veteran's Administration for many years helping numerous veterans. Idaroi's love of her life was her son Richard "Bubba" Clark II who preceded her in death and her dog Parker.
Survivors include brothers: Melford Chester Tieyah, Douglas Tieyah, Teddy Kee Tieyah and wife Jodean of Junction City, Kan., Pratt R. Wauqua Sr. of Elgin, and Bill Tieyah and wife Barb of McPherson, Kan., sisters: Rosalie Tieyah-Pennah, Lavenia Tieyah, Tince Tieyah, Winifred Tieyah, Alberta Foster, Valoris Tieyah, and Kaylene Kimple and husband Erik of Hayward, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Richard "Bubba" Clark II; her parents: Melford Tieyah and Josephine Pratt; brother, Galvus A. Pratt Tieyah; and sisters: Marlene Wauqua, Pamela Bobelu, Rose Flores, Delores Tieyah Stillwell, Irene Tieyah, and Mary Tieyah.
