Frankie "Sue" Lea Asepermy Gooday

Frankie "Sue" Lea Asepermy Gooday, 75, Owasso, went to her heavenly home on Saturday March 3, 2018.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday March 8, 2018, at Comanche Nation Funeral Home Chapel with Baxter Asepermy officiating.  Burial will be at Cache Creek Cemetery west of Apache under the direction of Comanche Nation Funeral Home.

The family will receive visitors from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Sue was born on Sept. 13, 1942, in Apache to George and Hattie (Jones) Asepermy, Sr. Frankie attended and graduated from Apache High School in 1962, she attended and graduated from Haskell College in Lawrence, Kansas; graduated from Claremore Junior College with Magma Cum Laude, she also attended Tulsa University.

Sue was a proud member of the Comanche Nation of Oklahoma and also of Kiowa decent, was a member of Who's Who Among College Students.  She enjoyed traveling, gardening and working in the yard.  She loved spending time with her family especially her kids. 

Sue married the love of her life, Talbert Gooday, on Sept. 12, 1964 in Apache at Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church.

Sue is survived by her husband of 53 years, Talbert Allen Gooday of the home; two children, Damon Allen Gooday of Owasso, and Susan Ella Gooday of Tulsa; a sister, Tomah Yeahquo of Apache; nieces, nephews and friends.

Sue is preceded in death by: her parents, George and Hattie Asepermy Sr.; sisters: Fern Tosee,  Ruth Myers, Gloria Caudilla; Fern Tosee, Theresa Pilas, Yvonne Evans; brothers: Curtis Asepermy Jr., George Asepermy Jr. and Roy Boti Asepermy.
