Debra J. 'Debbie' Lavatta
Debra J. "Debbie" Lavatta, 61, died peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017, at her home.
After a gradual but long struggle with COPD, she went on to be with the Lord.
Debbie was born March 1, 1956, in Atlanta, the daughter of Arthur and Edna Miller. She was part of a military family which traveled a lot. In 1964 through 1966 she lived in Germany with her family. In 1967, her father was stationed at Fort Sill, where he retired and then made their home. Debbie went to high school through 11th grade at MacArthur High School in Lawton. She continued to graduate through Robert E. Greiner School, Lawton, in 1975.
On Dec. 1, 1984, Debbie married Orlando Kreizenbeck. They had one daughter on Sept 4, 1985. She married her second and last husband, Robert Lavatta on Nov. 25, 1991. They were married for 26 years until her death. For a short time she worked as a housekeeper and cleaner through the '90s. For most of her life she was a stay-at-home mom and homemaker. She took pride in always making sure her family was taken care of.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Robert T. Lavatta, of the home; a brother-in-law, Thomas W. LaVatta "Billie" of Nampa, Idaho; a brother, Dennis Miller of Tucson, Ariz,; daughter, Lynette Solenberg and her husband Daniel; a granddaughter, Kaylee Solenberg of Augusta, Ga.; a niece, Shawn Miller; a nephew, Ryan of Lawton; and many many friends who she considered gamily.
Debbie was preceded in death by a young nephew, Josh Miller; and her parents: Arthur and Edna Miller.
Service was at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 1, 2017, at Nampa Funeral home, Nampa, Idaho.
