United Way, library partnering in book swap

United Way of Southwest Oklahoma and Lawton Public Library are once again partnering to host a children's book swap on Saturday.

The swap will have books available for children from newborns to teenagers. To participate, take gently used children's books to the main library, 110 SW 4th, check in for a book count and choose new books to take home and enjoy. The swap will will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the library's meeting room.

United Way's in-house education initiative, Success By 6 and the library have been longtime partners working to solve the tough problems facing early childhood education in our area, the United Way said in a news release. This is the second book swap for the organizations.
