A Lawton man has been arrested in what police said was an accidental shooting on the city's west side.
Emergency responders and police were called to a house at 5725 NW Cedarwood Drive just after 10 p.m. Thursday after receiving a call that a man there had been shot in the head. Officers found Mark Comacho-Ramos suffering from a gunshot wound to the head, but the person who's alleged to have pulled the trigger wasn't there.
"The shooting was not self-inflicted; however, all the witness statements obtained stated that it was an accidental shooting," Lawton Police Capt. Craig Akard said.
