Cameron University's Center for Emerging Technology and Entrepreneurial Studies (CETES) will hold its first Tech Night of the fall \semester at 6 p.m. Tuesday in CETES Room 207.
The topic will be "An Achilles Heel of Information Assurance Security: A Case Study of Verizon's Data Breach Reports."
Pedro Diaz Gomez, Cameron assistant professor of computing and technology, will make a presentation, demonstrating by way of a case study the potential areas where information of businesses could be compromised, and offer possible safeguards against that happening. The presentation will be especially useful for businesses needing to know the importance of securing business and client information.
