A 14-year-old Blair boy was admitted to an Oklahoma City hospital in serious condition after tumbling from a moving vehicle, investigators said.
The boy was reported to have been horsing around before falling out the window onto a dirt and gravel road Monday night. David Weidner was flown to the OU Trauma Center where he was admitted in serious condition with head injuries, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol
Minutes after 7:30 p.m., Weidner attempted to hang out the passenger window while sitting on the door of a pickup driven by Matthew Mathis, 17, Altus, Trooper Josh Tinsley said. As they traveled westbound on Jackson County Road 157, Weidner lost his balance and fell out the window and onto the roadway -mile east of U.S. 283, Tinsley said.
