ELGIN This year's St. Ann Fall Fest promises to be bigger and better than ever before.
Organizer Leslie Durham said for the first time the show will have vendors selling various items breakfast, and lunch will be served Friday and Saturday.
"This not only broadens what will be available for shoppers but also helps our local small home-based business owners," she said.
There will be 20 vendors selling Scentsy, Thirty-one, Velata, Cherish Teddies, Pampered Chef, Usborne Books, Simply Fun and Beachbody, merchandise and Polish pottery, plus several vendors who specialize in handcrafted wares. This is all on top of the traditional annual craft show featuring a wide assortment of handcrafted items, she said.
Shoppers can stop by in the morning for fresh cinnamon rolls, coffee and juice for $2. An Italian lunch will be served both days featuring homemade lasagna, ravioli, penne dishes, salad and garlic bread for $8; for those 12 years old and under lunch will be $4. For an even bigger bargain donate a nonperishable food item and receive $1 off the price of lunch.
