DUNCAN Duncan police are investigating a Thursday evening collision between a vehicle and child in the intersection near a park.
Duncan Police Lt. Robert Lynn said that the collision happened at 6:28 p.m. in the intersection of 2nd and Elder Streets. The child was hospitalized. Lynn said that investigators were working the case and that little information was available. The type of vehicle and age/sex of the child were not available, he said.
The intersection serves as entry to Duncan's Forest Hills Addition and has a small park and playground on its southwest corner.
