HOLLIS Dr. William Kok has assumed the position of medical director of the Shortgrass Community Health Center, board chairman Stan Wright has confirmed.
Kok will lead the new center, which is set to open Oct. 15.
Kok is board certified in family practice. He most recently worked as an emergency physician in Elk City.
Wright also announced the employment of Bill Sparks, who is from Russellville, Ark., to serve as chief executive officer for the clinic. Sparks has more than 40 years experience of executive management experience in healthcare and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
