A 52-year-old Fort Cobb man died from injuries received in a wreck in Caddo County that investigators suspect was caused by drinking and driving.
Savondo Ybarra died at the intersection of Oklahoma 19 and Caddo County Street 2580 following the 8 p.m. collision, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. He was taken to the state medical examiner's office in Oklahoma City for autopsy.
Ybarra was driving his 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass northbound on the county street when he failed to stop at the sign, entered into the intersection and was struck by a Ford pickup driven by Marciano Arellano, 60, of Apache, said Trooper Daniel Moreno. The truck rolled -time before coming to rest 79 feet from the impact area, Moreno said.
