Home and Garden Show offers DIY materials
OKLAHOMA CITY If you're interested in home or gardening projects, the 35th Annual Home and Garden Show of Oklahoma City will be the place to be this weekend.
The show begins Friday and continues through Sunday at the State Fair Park of Oklahoma, 3001 General Pershing Blvd. in Oklahoma City.
"There are more than 500 vendors offering everything from DIY materials to improving gardens and landscapes to relaxing your muscles after you've worked hard on the yard and house," said Becky Cavnar, spokesman for the show. "Last year we had approximately 40,000 people who attended, and several hundred visited from Lawton. We hope to top last year's attendance."
In 2017 there was only one building for the show, but the 2018 edition of the show will have three buildings full of vendors and products. Some of the products offered include fragrance for your home, home spas, exercise equipment, pools and spas, and flooring and woodworking. Paint companies, electric companies, home designers, fence companies, foundation repair companies and many more will have information on their services.
"Our vendors have increased by about 100 this year," Cavnar said.
Hours are noon to 9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Tickets are $12 at the door or $10 for adults; senior tickets are available online only for $9. Children 12 and younger are admitted free with a paying adult. Group tickets are $6 for groups of 20 or more.
