6 to vie for title of Miss Black CU

Six students at Cameron University will compete for the title of Miss Black CU on Saturday.
The pageant will begin at 7 p.m. in the Cameron University Theatre.
The six contestants are:
Oluwakemi Olurotimi is an 18-year-old psychology major. She is a junior and her platform is "Improving Our 'Stressed' Well-Being." She is the daughter of Festus and Adeola Olurotimi.
Cree Blevins is an 18-year-old business administration major. She is a freshman and her platform is "F.A.M.I.L.Y: Foundation Amongst Men in Lives of the Youth." She is the daughter of Otis and Christie Johnson.
Ciera James is a 20-year-old accounting major. She is a junior and her platform is "Judge Not: Self-Respect and Respect for Others in the Youth Community." She is the daughter of Lonest James Jr. and Pamuela James.
Christianah Olubajo is an 18-year-old biology and pre-nursing major. She is a sophomore and her platform is "Creating Awareness on Childhood Hunger." She is the daughter of Caleb and Sherifat Olubajo.
