Farm agency calls for timely filing for losses
Comanche County Farm Service Agency (FSA) Executive Director Janlyn Hannah urges producers who purchased 2014 small grain grazing coverage to file losses in a timely manner.
Eligible losses must be filed no later than 15 days after the disaster has occurred but no later than March 15, whichever is earlier.
Much of the area has been without significant rainfall since fall planting. If you feel your Non-insured Crop Disaster Assistance Program (NAP) covered wheat, oats, barley, rye or triticale has experienced damage, please make your appointment today to be eligible for potential benefits. To schedule your appointment, contact the Comanche County FSA office at 353-2115, extension 2.
