Facebook founder visited Oklahoma wind farm
Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg passed through Southwest Oklahoma this week.
Zuckerberg, undertaking a "Year of Travel" challenge, wanted to visit a wind farm in oil country.
Later, on Facebook, he bragged about Oklahoma's growing energy sector.
"Oklahoma is still oil country," he wrote about the visit. "But as technology improves and costs get lower, renewable energy is catching up."
Zuckerberg also noted Oklahoma's efforts put the state on track to be the second largest producer of wind energy and mentioned how the new technology encourages diversity in the state's workforce.
