Beginning entrepreneurs can compete in Project Dream
Budding entrepreneurs in Comanche, Stephens and Jackson counties have the chance to participate in a regional competition that offers the opportunity for people to fulfill their dreams of self-employment or expansion of their current businesses.
The Center for Emerging Technology and Entrepreneurial Studies (CETES) at Cameron University is seeking people to participate in Project Dream, which is part of Dream Big Oklahoma, a statewide initiative. The winning submission will have the opportunity to receive a grant of up to $5,000. Ideas must be entered via upload by Feb. 14 at www.DreamBigOklahoma.com (scroll down to the Project Dream link).
After the submission deadline, all regional entries will be posted online for public voting. Voting takes place from Feb. 15-28. The two dreams receiving the most votes and the top two judges' picks will pitch their business ideas to a panel of business experts.
