Four hurt in rollover vehicle accident
Four people were hurt in a one-vehicle accident Wednesday night in Jackson County.
The accident occurred at 9:34 p.m. on County Road 208 south of County Road 168 southeast of Altus.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a 2000 Chevrolet driven by Kelly Moore, 26, of Altus was southbound on County Road 208 when the vehicle departed the roadway to the right for 54 feet and rolled one time. Moore and a passenger in the vehicle were ejected and landed 50 feet from the vehicle.
Moore was taken by ambulance to Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Three passengers were also taken by ambulance to the hospital. They included Rebecca Wilson, 30, and Betty Wilson, 64, both of Altus and both admitted in stable condition with arm injuries, and Jerry Calloway, 30, Altus, who was treated and released.
