Duncan man injured in Monday accident
A 66-year-old Duncan man was injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Monday morning on a rural Stephens County road near Comanche.
The accident occurred at 7:59 a.m. on Fenmore Road about 4 miles east and 1.5 miles south of Comanche.
A 2001 Ford F750 truck driven by Gary D. O'Neal was traveling northbound on Fenmore Road when it struck the rear of a 2001 Mack truck parked in the roadway. O'Neal was pinned for an unknown period of time before being freed by Comanche and Meridian fire department personnel using the Jaws of Life.
O'Neal was transported by Air Evac helicopter to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, where he was admitted in serious condition with leg, trunk internal and trunk external injuries.
